CELEBRITY SWAP

Celebrity Swap is a version of the classic Memory Matching game where students take turns guessing which celebrity matches their physical description.

• Print one set of cards for each student group.
• Divide the students into small groups.
• Separate the pink cards from the blue cards.
• Place all cards face down.
• Each turn, a player flips two cards: one description card and one photo card. If the photo matches the description, bingo! If not, the player places them face down again, and the next player takes their turn.
• The student with the most correctly matched celebrities wins the game.

As you’ll notice, the description cards include highlighted vocabulary to help players understand its usage and facilitate the game’s flow.

The cards can be printed double-sided and laminated. They will have distinct backgrounds (pink for descriptions and blue for photos).
